Mas-Market is a fairly new online fashion shop, but with a lot of strategies set in place to showcase to the world what beautiful cultures Africa has to offer to the world. There’s been many narratives about the continent, as well as portrayals, yet many of such seem inadequate to some, including we at Mas-Market. As sons and daughters of the motherland we ought to retell the stories, the complete stories. Through Fashion, we strongly believe we will draw a lot of people’s attention into educating themselves or reshaping their mindsets on the way of life of the African people. There is an already existing love over African aesthetics; the way we wear our hair, the bright and bold colors we wear, the highly sophisticated symbols and so on.

Learning & Development Experience

Work with/for us is a constant learning and teaching activity. Most of our works are intertwined with the history and culture of the Motherland [Africa]. By such, for example: designers that use any type of these African characters, art, legends, proverbs, symbols, or even languages have to do lot of research to make sure the work being put out is simply the truth; depicts the genuine source and meaning.

Thus, this helps the designer to learn more or new stories about the work in this case, as well as teaching his/her consumers the truth too.
